Scope:
The development of a partnership providing technological and infrastructure support to
companies in the Atlantic Area that will address the challenges involved in creating products
that meet the objectives of sustainable development.
Objectives:
The cross-border network operates regionally through each partner organisation.
The program focus is on the following themes:
- Recyclability: use of recyclable materials and components,
redesign of products through "recyclability" oriented value analyses,
Eco-labels acquisition;
- Miniaturisation: progressive miniaturisation of products through the use of
"new" materials and the application of "new" micro-technologies while reducing their life
cycle cost.
- Waste reduction: reduce rejects, valorisation of production wastes,
improving production process performances
The principal activities of the project are:
- Punctual company visits, audit and diagnostic,
partially or totally financed by the project.
- Creation of a network of partner's companies joining their experience and benefiting
from seminars, hands-on demonstrations and formations.
- Pilot projects focusing on PREMI themes, which could be partially financed by the project.
- Support for the creation of long and medium term joint R&D projects: searching for partners,
bidding for funding
